ITV is offering an exclusive insight into the lives of Jamie and Rebekah Vardy in a brand new reality series coming to screens later this year.
In what has been described as a “gripping” series, The Vardys will follow the family as they face their biggest challenge yet: leaving Leicester City after 13 years for a new life abroad.
Kicking off with Jamie’s final emotional match for the club, punctuated by his 200th goal, the real story unfolds off the pitch, as family matriarch Rebekah juggles it all.
The synopsis continues: “After a difficult and dramatic five years in the UK, Rebekah is ready for the next chapter – but uprooting and moving to Italy with four kids (plus a superstar footballer husband) is not exactly what she had in mind.
“As she manages the emotional and physical upheaval of the new move, she reflects on her recent challenges in the UK, intent on putting the ‘Wagatha’ drama behind her and focusing on an exciting new chapter.
“With no-holds-barred, intimate access to the Vardys, this series follows all the drama and chaos of their new family adventure – from frantic house-hunts and tearful school searches, to unexpected disasters and dramatic setbacks, all while Jamie battles to prove his doubters wrong on the pitch at the age of 38, with Italian Serie A underdogs US Cremonese.
“Witness the banter, the bickering and the sheer unpredictability of the Vardys as they navigate cultural clashes, forge new friendships, and make Italy their home. Can Jamie rekindle his underdog magic? Will Rebekah find peace and a new purpose away from the glare of the British tabloids? And will the Vardy family finally find their happily ever after?”
Rebekah hit the headlines in 2019 following a post from Coleen Rooney alleging that someone using Rebekah’s Instagram account had leaked information about her to the press. It culminated in a High Court libel battle which Rebekah ultimately lost.

This marks the second TV announcement for Jamie in recent weeks, as the footballer will also be the focus of a new Netflix documentary coming out next month.
On Tuesday 12 May, Jamie will be the subject of the first Untold UK episode, featuring unseen archive footage, raw dressing room tales and interviews with Vardy, his wife Rebekah, teammates, managers and his oldest friends.
The synopsis reads: “Untold UK: Jamie Vardy shows how a lad from Sheffield smashed records, tore up the rulebook and made a mockery of what’s supposed to be possible in the modern game. This is football’s ultimate underdog story – told exactly as Vardy lived it.”
