The Madrid Open clicks into gear on Wednesday – with the first round of the men’s and women’s singles now under way.

Britain’s Katie Boulter is among those aiming to make a winning start at the ATP/WTA 1000 tournament, where she takes on Taylor Townsend today.

British No.1 Cam Norrie has a bye to the second round, along with the rest of the seeded players, including Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, who are set to continue their battle for World No.1.

The WTA Rankings paint a very different picture. Aryna Sabalenka remains peerless and unchallenged at the top as we head to the Spanish capital.

Roland-Garros, the second major of the year, is fast approaching and the Madrid Open offers players another chance to test themselves on clay.

Radio Times has the full order of play for the Madrid Open 2026, with the full tournament schedule, updated with the latest matches each and every day.
