Actor Janhvi Kapoor recently spoke about her travel habits and personal preferences during an interaction with Lifestyle Asia India at the launch of Tumi’s latest Mediterranean Escape collection. The conversation offered a candid look into how the actor approaches holidays, what she prioritises while travelling, and the kind of experiences she values the most.

Speaking about her routines, Janhvi admitted that fitness remains a priority even when she is on vacation. “First thing I do when I land, I know this sounds horrible and almost very depressing, but I look for my nearest gym,” she said. The actor also highlighted that her skincare regimen is something she does not compromise on, regardless of her schedule. She shared that she carries an extensive toiletries kit to ensure she follows every step of her routine while travelling.

Her packing choices reflect a balance between comfort and practicality. Janhvi mentioned that she prefers relaxed clothing such as comfortable co-ord sets and sneakers, keeping her travel wardrobe simple and functional.

When asked about memorable travel experiences, the actor found it difficult to pick just one. She initially referred to a recent birthday trip but eventually spoke about a visit to Paris, including time spent at Disneyland with her sister and friends. “There were too many memories, but they all feature amusement parks for some reason,” she said, suggesting her inclination towards light-hearted and fun experiences during trips.

Janhvi also revealed her general travel personality, describing herself as someone who plans at the last minute. “I’m extremely last minute. I’m very chaotic, but I think there’s a lot of fun in that,” she said. Despite the spontaneity, she emphasised the importance of rest, adding that she prefers a balanced routine with adequate sleep.

Choosing between different travel styles, Janhvi leaned towards beach destinations over parties and summed up her idea of a Mediterranean escape as something that reflects summer, relaxation, and simple pleasures like ice cream by the sea.
