One of HBO Max‘s popular travel TV shows starring Aquaman’s Jason Momoa has finally returned today with an exciting new season. The hit show is described as a cinematic documentary series, featuring Momoa traveling around the country.

The first episode of Momoa’s On the Roam Season 2 is now available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes premiere weekly, leading up to the season finale debut on June 18, 2026. Season 2 consists of six episodes, which is two episodes fewer than the first installment. In the next installment, Momoa continues to spotlight many artists around the country, including those he admires.
“It is a cinematic docuseries following Jason Momoa as he travels the country chasing art, adventure, and friendship through the lens of craftsmanship,” reads the Season 2 logline.
On the Roam is also executive-produced by Brian Mendoza, with James Mendoza serving as a producer. In addition to hosting the show, the blockbuster actor is also serving as its creator and executive producer. Since its debut in 2024, Season 1 has garnered a Popcornmeter score of 78% on Rotten Tomatoes.
In a recent interview with ComingSoon, Momoa teased what to expect from the new season, promising that it will be more elevated than the first.
“We just wanted to up the bar and kind of just do things that were, you know, kind of scary,” He shared. “Or things we didn’t know if we were going to be able to pull off. But they would just elevate to the next level, and they would just keep growing and growing. And so, that’s kind of the fun thing, where we have a plan, we have an idea, and then if it’s great, the universe kind of just opens up, and things keep stacking up on top of it. And it takes you in the direction that you never could have thought it was going to go like that.”
