The makers of Border 2 have unveiled the teaser of ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, a stirring new song that brings together Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra, and Diljit Dosanjh in a rare and significant musical collaboration. The song carried forward the emotional legacy of the original Border soundtrack while offering a contemporary reimagining rooted in collective sentiment and human connection.

The music for ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ was originally composed by Anu Malik and has now been reimagined by Mithoon. The lyrics combined the timeless words of Javed Akhtar with additional fresh lines penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla, creating a layered composition that balanced nostalgia with a renewed emotional depth. The teaser hinted at a powerful, evocative track designed to resonate strongly with audiences.

The full song is announced to be launched on January 2, 2026, at a grand event in Longewala–Tanot, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The location held symbolic significance and marked an important milestone in Border 2’s journey towards its theatrical release.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 features an ensemble cast led by Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, along with Mona Singh, Medha Rana, Sonam Bajwa, and Anya Singh. The film aims to continue the legacy of the iconic war drama with a renewed narrative of patriotism, courage, and sacrifice.

Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. The film is backed by producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, with Anurag Singh at the helm as director. The film is slated for a theatrical release on January 23, 2026, positioning itself as one of the most anticipated patriotic releases of the year.
