Life after Pep Guardiola has begun for Manchester City, who bid farewell to their legendary manager at the end of last season.

Guardiola’s former assistant and ex-Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has arrived as his replacement and has already been backed with a huge money signing.

Man City have spent a nine-figure fee on Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson and you suspect there are more transfers to come.

Maresca will hope the deals are done sooner rather than later as the start of the new Premier League season approaches.
