This summer is a new start for Chelsea, who have appointed Xabi Alonso as the permanent replacement for Enzo Maresca.
The mid-season exit of Maresca, who has since succeeded Pep Guardiola at Man City, derailed the Blues in 2025/26 and they finished down in 10th.
Alonso is charged with bringing the good times back at Stamford Bridge and has a squad packed with talent after another spending spree.
Under this ownership, Chelsea are never done so more additions should be expected ahead of the start of the Premier League next month.

England defender John Stones is a Chelsea target after leaving Man City on a free at the end of last season.
Crystal Palace centre-back Maxence Lacroix is another defensive addition on their radar and the Blues are in talks with their fellow capital club over a deal.
Aston Villa are in talks to sign Alejandro Garnacho, who the West Londoners value in the region of £42.7m, while Roma are also keen.
A host of other players could leave Stamford Bridge this summer, including Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, Malo Gusto and Axel Disasi.
But striker Joao Pedro is considered untouchable by Chelsea despite Barcelona interest.
