‘He’ll make you smile … by any means’
Summerween is a 2026 slasher horror film in which a former circus clown escapes a mental institution to hunt teenagers partying in his abandoned mansion. Trapped inside the isolated property, the teens must fight for survival as the homicidal clown begins hunting them one by one.
There is currently no indication that this Asylum film is an adaptation of a novel, comic, or existing movie. It appears to be an original slasher that borrows its title from the popular Summerween/Halloween-in-summer concept that grew out of Gravity Falls.
The movie was written and directed by Ryan Ebert (Shark Frenzy; Predator: Wastelands; The Jolly Monkey) and produced by The Asylum, it is scheduled for release on June 26, 2026.The film stars Clint Morrison, Sophia Sabol and Cole Chapleski.
