WithSupergirljust a few weeks away from release, DC Studios has officially announced that tickets for the film are now on sale with the release of a final trailer for the comic book blockbuster.
Directed by Craig Gillespie,Supergirlis adaptation of Tom King and Bilquis Evely’sSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow which sees the Girl of Steel on a cosmic journey hunting an intergalactic criminal. Milly Alcock reprises herSupermancameo role as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl.
Supergirlis the next DC Studios film to be released in the new cinematic universe that began with last summer’sSuperman. It will be followed by the body horrorClayfacein September and next summer’sMan of Tomorrow, which will again see Alcock as Supergirl as her, Superman and Lex Luthor face off against the villainous Brainiac.
Additional upcoming DC projects set in the universe areLanterns, which premieres this August and will see Aaron Pierre’s Green Lantern John Stewart return inMan of Tomorrow, and a second season of the animatedCreature Commandosseries which is in production for a 2027 release.
Outside of the DC universe, audiences will see Superman and Supergirl again in the third season of My Adventureswith Supermanin July and more of Robert Pattinson as Batman inThe Batman Part II, which is currently filming for an October 1st, 2027 release date.

Supergirlis directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya) and stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, Jason Momoa as Lobo, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, and David Corenswet as Superman.
