As Welcome To The Jungle gears up for its theatrical release, actor Tusshar Kapoor has shared his experience of working on the film and reflected on director Ahmed Khan’s approach to handling its large ensemble cast.

The comedy entertainer features a long list of actors, led by Akshay Kumar, and has been in production for some time. Speaking about the project, Tusshar said the delay was partly due to Ahmed Khan’s commitment to executing the film the way he had envisioned it.

“Ahmed Khan never compromised on how he visualised and executed the film. He has justified the cast in the story. Maybe that’s why it has taken time, but that’s his passion,” Tusshar said.

The actor suggested that the director paid close attention to ensuring that the film’s many characters had meaningful roles within the narrative.

Tusshar also spoke about reuniting with Akshay Kumar, who headlines the film. He described the actor as someone who balances a fun atmosphere on set with a strong work ethic.

According to Tusshar, Akshay is known for keeping the mood light by joking around and playing pranks, but remains fully prepared when it comes to work.

“Akshay is sharp and the entire script is at the tip of his fingers. Even though he’s always joking around and playing pranks, he works equally hard,” he said.

Welcome To The Jungle is directed by Ahmed Khan and features one of the largest ensemble casts seen in a Hindi film in recent years. Along with Akshay Kumar and Tusshar Kapoor, the film stars Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Aftab Shivdasani and several others.

The film is presented by A.A. Nadiadwala, Cape of Good Films and Star Studio18 in association with Seeta Films and Rakesh Dang. It is produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, along with Rakesh Dang and Vedant Vikaas Baali.

Welcome To The Jungle is scheduled to release in cinemas on June 26, 2026.
