Sky is set to remove a UK TV news channel from its listings this week.

The TV giant is making a number of changes to several channels this week, including multiple name changes.

One channel is also set to disappear from Sky listings entirely, with local news channel London TV (Satellite 117) set to be axed on Tuesday (2 June) – though it will still be available on standard Freeview channel 8 and Virgin Media channel 159.

Sky has also announced several temporary and permanent channel name alterations, with SkyDecadesHD (Satellite 302 – Sky Glass/Stream 302) temporarily being renamed SkyDirectorsHD.

Sky Batman HD (Satellite 303 – Sky Glass/Stream 303) has also been altered to Sky Pride HD as part of a temporary change.
