Netflix’s latest British drama Unchosen takes viewers into the oppressive lifestyle of a reclusive cult, which an escaped convict stumbles into by sheer chance.

Devoted wife and mother Rosie (Molly Windsor) is first to encounter the troubled Sam (Fra Fee), who stirs feelings in her that she’s never experienced before. But can he really be trusted?
Watching Rosie’s every move is charismatic leader Mr Phillips (Christopher Eccleston) and her cold husband Adam (Asa Butterfield), who has grand ambitions to take over when the former steps down.
Although not based on a true story, there are real-life parallels between Unchosen’s fictional cult and real suspected cases, one of which has been covered extensively via two Netflix documentaries (Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey and Trust Me: The False Prophet).
Read on for a guide to the cast of Unchosen, launching soon on Netflix.
