World Cup co-hosts Canada get their tournament underway on Friday night as they face off against Bosnia & Herzegovina in Toronto.
Jesse Marsch’s side, who automatically qualified for the tournament as co-hosts alongside the United States and Mexico, are in Group B with Bosnia & Herzegovina, Switzerland and Qatar.
Canada are making just their third World Cup appearance with Marsch hoping to get his side out of the group for the first time in their history. They’ve previously played six World Cup games and lost them all.
Bosnia & Herzegovina, who are playing in their second ever World Cup and their first since 2014, finished second in their qualifying group behind Austria with Sergej Barbarez’s side having to settle for the play-offs.
They beat Wales in their semi-final before pulling of a major upset against Italy by winning on penalties to secure a place at the World Cup this summer.
