Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia battle it out in their final Group H showdown in the early hours of Saturday morning, with the former hoping to continue their World Cup fairytale story by qualifying for the round of 32.
Cape Verde are the third-smallest nation to ever feature at a World Cup and they stunned Spain by drawing 0-0 with the pre-tournament favourites in their opening clash. They then followed that up by drawing 2-2 with Uruguay last time out.
The 64th-ranked side can finish in the top two to book their spot in the knockout stages if they beat Saudi Arabia and Spain get the better of Uruguay elsewhere in Group H.
Saudi Arabia sit on just one point after their opening two World Cup group games with Georgios Donis’s side drawing 1-1 with Uruguay before being hammered 4-0 by Spain.
Saudi Arabia, who have only got out of the group stages once in their previous six World Cup appearances, can reach the round of 32 if they beat Cape Verde and Spain beat Uruguay.
