It’s been three juicy weeks since Love Island burst onto our screens and so far, three Islanders have been sent packing as their time in the villa drew to a close.

First was Robyn Langton, a 21-year-old from Liverpool who, despite finding a connection with George Knight, his departure due to private reasons meant she was left single. And when two new bombshells entered the villa and chose to couple up with two other Islanders, Robyn received the tough text that she had been dumped.
Then it was Ope Sowande and Victoria Onanusi, who, after positioning themselves as the couple with the weakest connection, became the next Islanders to be dumped from the villa.
But is there any bad blood? Would they return to Love Island? And what on earth does Ellie keep in her bags?
Radio Times caught up with Robyn, Ope and Victoria upon their return to the UK as they gave us the lowdown on their time on Love Island and delivered their verdicts on some of the couples…

We’ve got to know, what is in Ellie’s bags?

Robyn: Oh my god, I can’t believe the reaction I’ve come out to about Ellie’s bags. And a little bit of inside information as well. When I was leaving the villa, and she had the Made by Mitchell bag in her hand, that was actually my make-up bag, so I don’t know why she had my make-up bag in her hand, but bless Ellie in these bags.
The only thing that I’ve seen in the bag is a lip gloss and a lipstick, so we don’t really know why she’s carrying the bags round, but she’s slays it anyway.
Ope, you were getting to know Angelista and Victoria. Looking back, do you regret how you handled things on that boys’ night out?
Ope: I feel like I regret not being a bit more firm with myself, and being like, ‘No, I’m allowed to get to know Victoria.’ I think when you’re in there, it was so intense, and the girl’s reaction was like, ‘You’re the worst person ever’, and you live with them as well. You want to kind of make peace, and I think in that situation I was like, how can I make peace? And unfortunately, that meant being like, ‘Victoria, sorry’. Do I regret it? Yeah, sure.
Victoria, you were getting to know Sam on the final day. Would you be interested in rekindling that on the outside should he not find love in the villa?
Victoria: Yes. Me and Sam, when we came back from the date, we were getting to know each other. I was surprised.
You had a close friendship with Sam and now Victoria has been dumped. Do you hope someone comes into the villa for him?
Robyn: 100 per cent I think he deserves the world. He’s an amazing boy, so respectful, and like I was saying in there, if I could get a hypnotist to hypnotise me to love this man, I definitely would, because he was honestly fabulous.
Do I think someone’s going to come in for him? Probably not, but fingers crossed! I manifested George coming in, so hopefully he can manifest a gorgeous girl.
Love Island is working for some in the villa, particularly Sean and Lola. Is their relationship the real deal?
Ope: I think it’s real love. I think they’re amazing. If they don’t win, then the show is not real. They’ll win, they have to, they’re in love.”
Robyn: “100 per cent. Sean and Lola were the mum and dad of the villa. They are amazing. But I also do think they haven’t been tested in there yet. I think if they threw a posh boy in for Lola… I think her head’s more likely to turn than Sean’s, but they have 100 per cent got the real deal.
The Lorenzo, Yasmin and Aidan love triangle continues. Who do you think Yasmin has a stronger connection with?
Robyn: Lorenzo, 100 per cent. Yasmin and Lorenzo have got something there definitely. I was definitely the hype woman in there for the two of them. It’s just like little things that you don’t see, like when they’re catching eye contact across the villa.
They have little chats. There’s definitely, definitely something there, and she needs to go for it, because I think Aidan was playing the field, so now she needs to do the same, and she owes it to herself. So I am rooting for Lorenzo and Yas.
There is another love triangle between Jasmine, Kavan and Priya. Who do you think Kavan has a stronger connection with?
Ope: I don’t think Jasmine’s for Kav, I’m just gonna say it. They have a lot of sexual chemistry but I don’t know, I think someone’s going to come in for Kav. I don’t think he’s found his one yet.
Robyn: Definitely Jasmine. Being in there I can see he’s absolutely besotted by that, and I will be very shocked if his head turns, and so I definitely, definitely do think he’s got a stronger connection with Jas.
Who were your closest friends in the villa?
Ope: Aidan and Kav were my guys. We’re actually all related. I’m the third Murphy brother.
Victoria: In terms of girls, I’d say Mica, Jasmin and obviously Namibia. In terms of guys, Samraj.
Robyn: Me and all the girls definitely had an amazing bond. We genuinely all were so close, but my top closest was definitely Ellie. She was my left arm in there, ride or die. She’s the best girl. I can’t wait to see her, and also Yasmin. Yasmin was like my little sister in there. She’s such a sweet doll, and I can’t wait to see her as well when she gets out.
What was your time like in the Love Island villa?
Ope: Incredible, it was the best time ever. I loved it. I loved the boys, loved the girls. The experience was just like insane. It was so fun.
Victoria: It was a good experience. However, when I started to actually come out of my shell, is the day I got dumped.
Robyn: Absolute ball. I had the best time, I made the most amazing friends, even though we didn’t have a romantic spark that lasted, because he left, and it was still amazing. The food was fab, the snacks were gorgeous. I absolutely loved it. It was a ball, but it was definitely my time to go, and it was ready to come home.
What was going through your head when you learned you had been dumped from the villa?
Victoria: Can I just start by saying we knew it was coming. Everyone’s saying Ope was fighting because we knew the dumping was coming, but that’s because I went to Ope, ‘We’re gonna get dumped if we’re last.’

Is there anything you wish you could have done differently?
Ope: I was an icon, babe. I back everything I did. You know what? The things that I was saying on the date night with the boys, I might not have said that.
Victoria: I wish I picked Samraj.
What was your relationship like with George before he left? Where did you both stand?
Robyn: So, obviously, me and George had absolute murder. Well, I just was sitting there shouting at him for a bit because I didn’t like the way he was moving in there, so we had a little bit of murder, and then he was gonna graft. I was gonna get a coffee, and then obviously he left.
So, mine and George’s relationship in the villa was boss, we just got on dead well. He came in and just put his interest in me straight away. So, yeah, it was amazing.
Have you reconnected since the villa?
Robyn: Me and George had a little FaceTime call when I came out. He has spoken about me so hardy on podcasts. He’s so lovely, such a respectful boy. And we met up last night, had a little catch up, which was amazing. And yeah, he’s just fab. We get on really well, so we will see.
Would you ever return to the villa if you were approached for All Stars?
Ope: If you don’t get me on All Stars, what are you doing?
Victoria: I think my time in the villa was really short, so they should just get me back if Sam is single, or yeah.”
Robyn: I think I would be open to the opportunity, definitely. Obviously first time round failed, maybe the second time round would be the winner, so maybe we’ll see.
Angelista and Simba getting to know each other caused a slight stir in the villa. How do you feel about that situation?
Ope: It’s annoying, because I felt like I couldn’t get to know Victoria, because everyone popped off. But when Simba walks in, it’s fine. Boring.
Do you both did you both get to know other Islanders that we didn’t see play out on TV?

Ope: I chatted to Ellie a little bit.
Victoria: Me and Samraj.
Robyn: So, the Islander I got to know was Kav, I think it only showed one conversation, me and Kav had a few conversations. Me and Aidan had a good few conversations as well, we just didn’t see, he’s an amazing boy. And obviously George.
Who would have been your ideal type to walk into the villa?
Robyn: It would have been like let’s say a mix between like George’s looks and Aidan’s personality in one person. Or you could have just sent like Jacob Elordi in for me, and then it would have been absolutely fine, but yeah, anyone just cheeky, confident, gorgeous, tall, definitely tall muscles.
What is the one thing you miss about villa life?
Ope: I just miss the boys. I miss hanging out with the boys, I really miss Kav and Aidan.
Victoria: No responsibilities. We weren’t even responsible for our own food. The no responsibility, just floating.
Robyn: The hummus! I loved the hummus, the hummus was fab. First of all, we didn’t have a really good round with the hummus, it tasted a bit bitter. And then after I spoke to them, and was like, ‘Look, we need to sort the hummus situation out it’s getting beyond a joke’, we got the new hummus in.
Oh my god, listen, I was dreaming about the hummus and pitta bread in that villa. Everyone else was like, cuddling with the with their baes, and I’m sitting there dreaming about hummus. So yeah, that was definitely the best part of the villa, the hummus.
