There’s a big Emmerdale wedding on the horizon, and with most soap nuptials, one half of the ‘happy’ couple is facing a moral dilemma before they tie the knot.
Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) should be organising her table plan and flower arrangements, but would rather focus on ex-husband Billy’s (Jay Kontzle) blossoming relationship with her housemate Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).
Her jealousy is intensifying by the day, and when Gabby suffers a dizzy spell and collapses due to her hidden eating disorder, she urges her to take a pregnancy test. The results come back negative, and Dawn struggles to wipe the smile off her face – something which is soon clocked by husband-to-be Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).
Elsewhere, Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) is forced to make a new ally amid her bizarre plot against Kim Tate (Claire King), and Kev Barton (Chris Coghill) is worried about what trouble Steve (Jason Done) could bring to the village.

1. Dawn Fletcher struggles to contain her feelings for ex-husband Billy
Gabby’s determined to prove she’s embracing a healthier lifestyle, proudly documenting her new clean-eating regime on her social media. However, when a dizzy spell leaves her collapsing in the kitchen, a horrified Dawn rushes to her aid.
Insisting she gets checked over, Dawn accompanies her to the surgery, where Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) reveals her blood pressure is a little low. To rule everything out, she suggests taking a pregnancy test – leaving Dawn fearing the worst.
The results bring relief, as Gabby isn’t expecting Billy’s baby. But there’s another shock in store when she admits she’s stopped taking the contraceptive pill as part of her wellness overhaul. Concerned, Dawn fills Billy in, much to Gabby’s fury when she discovers her private business has been shared.
Joe soon clocks the simmering tension and begins to wonder whether Gabby’s accusations have some truth behind them. Could Dawn still have unresolved feelings for Billy?
Later, when Lucas Taylor (Noah Ryan Aspinall) lands in trouble at school, the pair are thrown back into co-parenting mode – and it doesn’t take long for old feelings to resurface. Caught up in the moment, Billy leans in for a kiss, only for Dawn to pull away just as Joe arrives.
Unsure how much her fiancé witnessed, Dawn is left rattled. But when he unexpectedly summons everyone for an impromptu family lunch at Home Farm the following day, even Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) senses there’s more to it than meets the eye.

2. Serena Sugden scrambles to hide her secret
Serena receives a phone call with some disappointing news: the USB stick she risked everything to steal from Home Farm is completely empty.
Realising she’ll have to break in again, Serena sneaks back to the property… only to discover she’s not the only intruder.
Kev’s old pal Steve has the same idea, and the pair are forced into an uneasy alliance when Ross Barton (Michael Parr) unexpectedly returns home.
Can the pair avoid being caught red-handed?
3. Kev Barton’s old friend Steve is up to no good
Steve breezes back into the village and is astonished nobody has taken advantage of the opportunities on offer. But Kev has no interest in slipping back into his old ways, determined instead to build bridges with son Lewis (Bradley Riches).
As he throws himself into organising a birthday surprise for his him, Steve has a very different plan in mind, setting his sights on robbing Home Farm. Kev quickly shuts the idea down, making it clear that he shouldn’t be playing with fire on his doorstep.
But while father and son have the perfect celebration, Steve prepares to ignore his warning. With Claudette and Charles Anderson (Flo Wilson and Kevin Mathurin) also none the wiser, is Home Farm about to become Steve’s next target?
And even if Steve doesn’t ruin Kev’s hopes of reconnecting with Lewis, could a jealous Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) succeed in driving father and son even further apart?
4. Caleb Miligan’s counterfeit operation is at threat
Joe attempts to repair his fractured relationship with brother Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), only for Caleb Miligan (William Ash) to throw a spanner in the works.
Later, Joe pays him a visit at the depot to find out more about the counterfeit car parts operation, but is surprised by how eager he is to get rid of him. The encounter leaves Joe convinced something isn’t right, prompting him to task Graham with digging into Caleb’s affairs.
Before long, Graham is lurking outside the depot, secretly snapping photographs.

There’s a bittersweet moment for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) as she watches Cain and Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) growing closer again.
Father and son may finally be rebuilding their relationship, but Moira can’t help feeling she’s still being kept at arm’s length.
