Producer Nidhi Dutta shared a heartfelt birthday message for actor Varun Dhawan on April 24 as he turned 39. Marking the occasion, she posted a series of behind the scenes moments from the sets of Border 2 and wrote an emotional note reflecting on her experience of working with him on the much-anticipated project.

In her message, Nidhi Dutta described Varun Dhawan as someone who became “the heart of the journey” during the making of the film. She highlighted how his presence on set went beyond performance, adding that his warmth, energy and spirit positively influenced everyone involved in the production. According to her, Border 2 demanded a great deal from the entire team, but Varun handled the process with grace and helped keep the environment lighter and more enjoyable throughout the schedule.

She also expressed gratitude for the memories created during the shoot and wished him success in the years ahead. Responding to the gesture, Varun Dhawan acknowledged the post in the comments section with white heart emoticons, signalling appreciation for the message shared by the producer.

The birthday tribute arrived at a busy time for the actor, who is currently occupied with promotional activities for his upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. On the occasion of his birthday, the makers of the film also released a track titled ‘Wow’, adding to the celebrations around the actor’s special day. The film also stars Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur and is scheduled to release in cinemas on June 5, 2026.

Directed by veteran filmmaker David Dhawan, the project marks another collaboration between the father and son duo. In a recent interaction with Bollywood Hungama, David Dhawan spoke about the film and his working relationship with Varun, further building anticipation around the release.
