A new Chad Powers Season 2 update is out, revealing when the Hulu comedy starring Glen Powell will be back.

When is Chad Powers Season 2’s release date window?
According to a new report from Deadline, Michael Waldron, the co-creator, executive producer, and showrunner of the show, has renewed his overall deal with 20th Television and will be returning for Season 2 to direct four of the six episodes, including the season premiere and finale. In a statement on the move, Waldron revealed when we’ll see more of Chad Powers.
“I’m proud to continue my partnership with the home team at Disney. Dana [Walden], Craig [Erwich], and Karey are great collaborators who take chances on wild ideas,” he said. “Speaking of which, I’d like to use this opportunity to remind you to tune into Chad Powers Season 2, coming to Hulu this Fall!”
“When bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers,” reads the show’s official synopsis for the first season of the show.
Chad Powers is co-created by Powell and Waldron, who also co-wrote the pilot. The half-hour comedy is based on the Eli Manning sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions, which aired on ESPN+ as part of the Eli’s Places series. The show also stars Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny, and Steve Zahn as Jake Hudson.
This marks Powell’s first major TV project as the solo lead after previously appearing in 2015’s short-lived slasher comedy Scream Queens. In addition, Powell is also executive producing via his Barnstorm Productions banner, along with Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown, and ESPN. Former Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and his brother, former NFL player Peyton Manning, have also boarded the project as executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Television, with Waldron and Adam Fasullo as producers.
