Premier League champions Arsenal are preparing for their title defence, with the start of the 2026/27 campaign still a month away.
Mikel Arteta ended the North London club’s 22-year wait for a league triumph last term and his squad are the favourites ahead of the new season.
But they’ve got some work to do after a fairly quiet start to the summer transfer window and with their top-flight rivals making moves.
Now the World Cup is done, transfers are set to take centre stage and Arsenal fans will hope to see movement soon.

Newcastle have been left frustrated by Arsenal’s pursuit of midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.
The Mags want in excess of £80m for the Brazilian, who is thought to be keen on a move to the Emirates, and don’t like that the North Londoners have explored the deal through intermediaries.
Gunners target Alex Scott has turned down a new contract at Bournemouth; however, the South Coast club are still keen to hold onto him this summer.
19-year-old Cherries striker Junior Kroupi is another player of interest to Arsenal amid rumours that rivals Tottenham are readying an £85m offer for him.
Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis is in London to have a medical ahead of a £34 million move to the Emirates.
More attacking reinforcements could arrive this summer. Arsenal are keen on Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, though the club’s CEO has said they would not accept £170m for him if it was offered, while PSG winger Bradley Barcola is also on their radar.
