The comedian and the streaming giant revealed new details about the upcoming performances, including when fans can grab ticketsand what to expect from theshows.

Dave Chappelle will perform three shows at the Hollywood Palladium during Netflix Is a Joke Fest 2026. Specifically, the streaming giant announced the comedian will take over the iconic venue from May 7 to 9. Additionally, each show will blend comedy and music with surprise guest appearances.
Meanwhile, tickets go on sale on April 29 at 10 a.m. PT. Notably, Chappelle has often blended music and comedy throughout his career. He has frequently collaborated with artists like The Roots, Yasiin Bey, and John Mayer.
The shows mark Chappelle’s return to the festival since the inaugural edition in 2022. During that run, a 23-year-old spectator named Isaiah Lee rushed the stage and attacked the comedian. Lee was quickly subdued, and Chappelle left uninjured, with Lee sentenced to 270 days in jail.
Chappelle maintains a long-standing relationship with Netflix going back nearly 10 years. In fact, Netflix released four stand-up specials by Chappelle in 2017 alone. Notably, those releases marked his first specials to air publicly since 2004.
Since then, he has released five more specials on the streamer, including most recently The Unstoppable. Additionally, Chappelle won a Grammy for The Dreamer, his Netflix special released on Christmas Eve 2023. He also became the first comedian to receive the NAACP President’s Award in 2025.
Meanwhile, Chappelle is the latest A-list addition to the festival, following Louis C.K.’s headlining show announcement. Overall, Netflix Is a Joke Fest runs from May 4 to 10 with over 350 events planned across Los Angeles. The lineup also includes a roast of Kevin Hart, John Mulaney at the Hollywood Bowl, and Katt Williams at the Intuit Dome.
