“I’m so damn lucky. How do I keep it going?” The eternal question. Netflix has revealed the official trailer for Marty, Life Is Short, a new biopic documentary film about the famous comedian Martin Short. He was also featured very prominently within Steve Martin’s recent biopic doc called STEVE! (Martin) because they’re best friends (and he shows up in here, too). From acclaimed writer / director Lawrence Kasdan comes this new doc Marty, Life Is Short: the definitive documentary on comedian Martin Short, exploring his career across film, television, theater and comedy. Using beautiful, intimate, never-before-seen archive footage alongside exclusive interviews with some of the most established and beloved stars, the heartfelt doc takes a close look at one of the most influential comedians of a generation. From Imagine Documentaries, this gets into all the various sides of his fascinating life that most of us probably aren’t familiar with. As Tom Hank says: “Marty operates at the speed of joy.” Looks wonderfully uplifting & wholesome – worth a watch.
