With Invincible Season 4‘s recent conclusion, fans are now looking forward to the release date for Season 5. Amazon Prime Video and Skybound Entertainment recently confirmed when the fifth chapter in Mark Grayson’s story will arrive in the near future. In addition, they offered a major update about the production, while also revealing Conquest’s fate.

Invincible Season 5 release date should be in 2027
Invincible Season 5 will make its way to Amazon Prime Video in 2027. This aligns with the creative team’s plans to launch a new season annually from Season 3 onwards, following the considerable gap between Seasons 1 and 2.
Alongside the release year, the streamer revealed that the voice acting has been completed. They also confirmed the expected returns of Thragg and Dinosaurus, while also assuring fans that Conquest is truly dead by saying he “will not be back.” Notably, Robert Kirkman confirmed last month in a Q&A with Collider that they were “getting final animation back” and doing ADR. He added that he and the team were “Putting the final touches on things.”
An exact release date or month hasn’t been revealed. However, Kirkman, who couldn’t confirm an exact date, speculated in the Q&A that it could drop in April. “Maybe May. Maybe January. I don’t know,” he further stated. “I don’t know. Who knows? We’ll see. But I would say that the goal is to come back in this general timeframe.”
Invincible Season 4 ended on a big cliffhanger, with Viltrumites assimilating into Earth’s society to breed with humans to repopulate their own species. Thragg confronts Mark Grayson and tells him of this, while also warning him to leave them alone lest he destroy the planet. Initially enraged, the latter, wishing to keep his loved ones safe, reluctantly agrees to his terms.
Meanwhile, Allen gets a posthumous recording from Thaedus, who tasks him with using the perfected Scourge Virus, known to Nolan (Omni-Man), to destroy the Viltrumites, despite its lethal implications on species with similar DNA, like humans.
All eight episodes of the fourth installment are currently streaming.
