Hulu’s new releases for this week feature Kelly Reilly’s gripping murder mystery, A Haunting in Venice, alongside several other titles.
Premiering April 30, 2026, A Haunting in Venice is a 2023 mystery-thriller directed by Kenneth Branagh, who also stars in the movie. He returns as retired detective Hercule Poirot. The film adapts Agatha Christie’s Hallowe’en Party. Set in post-WWII Venice, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance in a decaying palazzo. The séance, however, ends in murder, leaving Poirot to expose the killer.
Additionally, releasing on Hulu on the same date is Season 7 of The UnXplained. Hosted by William Shatner, the series examines the world’s most baffling mysteries. Episodes range from archaeological puzzles to supernatural phenomena and scientific enigmas.
Meanwhile, Star Wars fans can plan a binge marathon, as the original trilogy will arrive on Hulu on May 1, 2026. It includes Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977), Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983).
