IO Interactive has released a new trailer for 007 First Lightthat provides a look at several of the key features that players will use as Bond. The Rules of Spycraft trailer provides details on what it means to be an MI6 recruit thrust into the world of espionage.

This latest trailer for the impressive-looking 007 First Lightshows how the developers have put creativity first and foremost in the gameplay. Players will be able to use any different method of spycraft to complete any mission.
Players can infiltrate locations by staying one step ahead of enemies through eavesdropping to gain vital intel, then using that to identify ways to bluff their way past guards or use stealth without raising alarms.
Gadgets from Q Branch are an important asset for Bond, and players can build a loadout around a variety of tools that enable stealth, distractions, and creative problem-solving. Players will have access to the Q‑Lens, which highlights info and hackable devices; the Q-Watch, for activating gadgets and creating diversions; the Laser Strap, useful for dazing enemies and creating environmental distractions; and many other items.
When stealth and bluff fail, it’s time for combat. Players can use the environment to take down enemies in close-quarters fights, rush enemies before they fire weapons, or make use of the Focus feature to slow time down for precision actions. Firearms also make good weapons once the ammo runs dry, as players can throw them at enemies to cause a daze effect.
After each mission is completed, players can use the Tactical Simulation mode to help improve their skills. Each mission attempted through this will be scored and added to the global and friends’ leaderboards.
007 First Light is available to pre-order now and will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 27th May. Nintendo Switch 2 gamers can expect it to arrive this summer. All those who pre-order will be upgraded to the Deluxe Edition for free.
