Love Island USA is back for its eighth season meaning that summer is finally here!
The American version of the British hit remained something of a niche show among TV fans until it blew up in 2024, leading to last year’s season becoming Peacock’s most-watched unscripted original series of all time with over 18 billion minutes watched.
But that means the pressure is on this year with the new series so highly anticipated. Thankfully the cast does not disappoint, with a line-up of 11 new singletons ready to enter the Fijian villa, guided all the while by host Ariana Madix.
It was originally set to be 12 contestants but Vasana Montgomery, who was announced as part of the line-up, was dropped before the start of the show.
So as we wait to find out how the new US Islanders get on inside the villa, read on to find out more about the cast of Love Island USA season 8.

Aniya Harvey
Age: 23
Job: Former college volleyball player

Aniya is the daughter of retired NBA basketbal player Donnell Harvey. She is going on Love Island USA to find her “Prince Charming” admitting that she is “ready for love” after six months of being single.
Beatriz Hatz
Age: 25
Job: Professional athlete
Location: San Diego, California

Beatriz Hatz is a Paralympic athlete after becoming an amputee at 10 months old. She has competed at two Olympic games – Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, where she won a bronze medal.
Bryce Dettloff
Age: 29
Job: Model/DJ/handyman

Bryce is looking for love after admitting he is “getting old” – he is actually the oldest contestant in this year’s season.
Speaking of his ideal type, Bryce said: “I’ve always liked a strong woman that can really put me in my place, someone that is not scared to just say what they want to say.”
Gabriel Vasconcelos
Age: 26
Job: Model
Location: Miami, Florida (from Rio de Jaineiro, Brazil)

Gabriel is from Brazil but now lives in Miami and is bringing his “Brazilian fire” to Love Island USA. He is fluent in three languages – Portuguese, Spanish and English – but says he is most proficient in his love language, which is making out.
KC Chandler
Age: 23
Job: Nursing assistant

KC says that as a muscly nursing assistant wearing scrubs he has no shortage of women approaching but has been unlucky in love despite this. He is looking for a “real connection” on Love Island USA but admits he is “nervous to be vulnerable”.
Kenzie Annis
Age: 24
Job: Nursing school graduate/nanny

Kenzie, who just graduated university, is a self-professed “lover girl” and is “starving for some boys” after being single for nearly two years. She is going on Love Island USA to find someone to start a family with, admitting she wants “five to 10 kids”.
Melanie Moreno

Melanie Moreno is very family-orientated, admitting her mum is her best friend and her friends are like her sisters. She is looking for an old-fashioned man that she can cook for.
Sean Reifel

Sean is a police officer and is known by his local community as “officer sexy pants”. He is a father and is looking for someone who can provide his son with a loving home before having more children.

Sincere is a self-professed “ladies man” admitting that he has not one but two wandering eyes. Despite this, he is looking for a wife.
Trinity Tatum
Age: 22
Job: Make-up artist and model

Trinity is the youngest of the original cast this year. She got her heart broken but hasn’t let that hold her back and is going on Love Island USA to find her man, admitting: “I love love.” She quit her job working at a hardware store to take part in the upcoming season.
Zach Georgio
Age: 26
Job: Content creator
Location: Birmingham, UK

Zach is the only Brit (so far) in this year’s Love Island USA line-up and splits his time between Birmingham and Adelaide, Australia. If he looks familiar that’s because his brother Charlie, who bears a striking resemblance to him, was on Love Island USA season 7 last year. Charlie was dumped in only nine days so Zach is hoping he can do better than his brother.
