“We need to understand… how it all began.” Apple TV has revealed the first look teaser for Season 3 of the highly acclaimed post-apocalyptic series Silo, about an underground civilization of people living within a massive silo. The series first launched in 2023 and continued with Season 2 in late 2024 (into 2025). This next season will begin in July this summer, with one new episodes weekly throughout September, revealing more of the mysteries. Rebecca Ferguson returns again as Juliette Nichols, after the events of Season 2 – she returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from its rebellion. But Season 3 will also flashback to the “Before Times” and tell the origin story of the Silo, with a story involving a journalist and a conspiracy with a congresswoman. Aside from Ferguson, Season 3 newcomers includes Colin Hanks, Ashley Zukerman, Jessica Henwick, Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, and Matt Craven. Plus returning cast members Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, Clare Perkins, & Steve Zahn. This teaser is a recap that also teases some origin story shots. Getting more creepy – so who pushed the doomsday button?

Season 3 of “Silo” continues the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances, while revealing an origin story from centuries earlier. In the present, Juliette (Ferguson) survives her forced “cleaning” but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion & faces a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences. Silo, formerly known as Wool, is a mini-series created and written by Canadian TV producer / writer Graham Yost, of series including “Hey Dude”, “Boomtown”, “Raines”, “Justified”, and “Sneaky Pete” previously.
