TV host Jeff Brazier is reportedly set to take part in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The This Morning presenter’s son Bobby competed in the 2023 season and finished in second place.
And now The Sun has reported that Jeff is set to follow in his son’s footsteps by joining the cast of the 2026 season, which is set to air later this year.
A source told the publication: “Jeff was approached by the Beeb about taking part in Strictly this year and he is tempted.
“Previously he said he wouldn’t do it because he didn’t want to step on Bobby’s toes. But three years have passed now and it’s a massive opportunity for Jeff.”
The source added: “He has discussed it with Bobby who thinks it would be amazing if his dad was to give it a go. Jeff has yet to sign his contract but everyone around him is urging him to do it.”
Radio Times has contacted the BBC for comment.

Bobby made it all the way to the final during his stint on the show back in 2023 alongside his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, but fell at the final hurdle and came second to Corrie actress Ellie Leach.
Jeff was seen in the audience getting emotional as he supported his son during Bobby’s run on the show.
Jeff previously said he was reluctant to take part in the dancing show because it was “Bob’s thing.”
He told The Sun in 2024: “I want to leave it to him. I’ve got plenty of things that I really enjoy doing, I’ve got lots of exciting projects moving forward and I’ll stay in my lane, I think. But I don’t think that going on Strictly would be right for me right now.”

While Jeff is best known for being a TV personality, he actually began his career as a footballer, playing for teams including Billericay Town and Leyton Orient.
He got his TV start on reality series Shipwrecked, which opened the door to hosting opportunities including ITV2 spin off I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here… Now, The X Factor Live Tour, and a showbiz slot on This Morning.
He is also known for his relationship with Big Brother star Jade Goody, who tragically died from cervical cancer in 2009, and with whom he had two sons: Bobby and Freddy.
