“Sit back and enjoy your flight.” Apple TV has unveiled an official trailer for the film Propeller One-Way Night Coach, written and directed by the actor John Travolta in his feature directorial debut. The story follows young aviation enthusiast Jeff and his mother flying on a long cross-country flight to Hollywood that transforms into a life-changing journey filled with unexpected moments. It’s a film about how Travolta fell in love with fly and with airplanes, changing his life forever. Adapted from Travolta’s 1997 book of the same name. This is premiering at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival this month before it’s streaming on Apple TV at the end of the month. Between airline meals, charming flight attendants, unexpected stopovers, larger-than-life passengers, and a thrilling glimpse at first class, Jeff’s journey unfolds in moments both magical and unexpected, charting the course for the boy’s future. A film for all ages! Starring Clark Shotwell as Jeff, with Kelly Eviston-Quinnett, Ella Bleu Travolta, Olga Hoffmann, and John Travolta, of course. ✈️ It looks extra cheesy, but I can vibe with a geek out film that is telling us exactly why Travolta loves planes.
