Put the Pimm’s on ice, get the strawberries and cream out, and pull on a white shirt for good measure, as we say goodbye to the All England Club for another year.
As is tradition, the men’s singles final marks the end of Wimbledon 2026 and calls time on the grass court season.
Carlos Alcaraz has been a constant presence over the last three years, beating Novak Djokovic to claim back-to-back titles before losing his crown to Jannik Sinner in 2025, but will be absent from Centre Court after missing the Championships due to injury.
That leaves space for someone else to try and make their mark in the final of tennis’ most prestigious tournament.
Radio Times brings you all the details about how to watch the Wimbledon men’s final in 2026.
When is the Wimbledon 2026 men’s final?
Wimbledon will draw to a close with the men’s final on Sunday 12 July 2026.
It will mark the end of the 139th edition of The Championships.
What time is the Wimbledon 2026 men’s final?
The Wimbledon men’s final will start at 4pm.
The match has been played at 2pm in past years but was moved to the late time at 4pm in 2025 to become the final match of the day on Centre Court.
Play will commence following the women’s doubles final.
How to watch the Wimbledon 2026 men’s final
The men’s final will be shown live on BBC Two, with players walking on at 4pm with plenty of build-up beforehand.
Viewers can also tune in via BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website or the app.
For those unable to watch the match, BBC Radio 5 Live offers ball-by-ball commentary, while BBC’s highlights show Today at Wimbledon will provide highlights later in the evening.
Who won Wimbledon last year?
Jannik Sinner beat rival Carlos Alcaraz to win his first Wimbledon title in last year’s final.
The Italian came from a set down to win 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 and end Alcaraz’s triumphant two-year run in SW19.
The Spaniard’s absence through injury means we cannot have a repeat of the 2025 decider and left Sinner as the overwhelming favourite in the men’s draw.
