World Cup fever has gripped fans around the globe – and it’s not the football tournament kicking off in North America we’re talking about.

Frankfurt, Germany, hosts the latest edition of the World Cup of Darts, which will bring together pairs from 40 nations to battle for the 2026 title and the largest share of the £500,000 prize pot.

Luke Littler and Luke Humphries, the two best players on the planet, have joined forces to represent England. They’ve got a point to prove after a shock early exit last year.

Netherlands (Gian van Veen and Michael van Gerwen), defending champions Northern Ireland (Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney), and Scotland (Gary Anderson and Cameron Menzies) make up the rest of the top four seeds, who enter the tournament when the second round starts on Saturday.

The other 36 teams are split into 12 groups, with only the top team progressing to the weekend’s knock-out stages, which is when the fun really begins.

Radio Times brings you all the details about how to watch the World Cup of Darts 2026.
